Lancôme TONIQUE CONFORT Comforting Rehydrating Toner, HYPED!

mmmmm, feels like soft silky strawberry icing !
At first i thought Lancôme products were in the high-end prices, so i never really looked into them or heard much about their products. Recently, i received the Lancôme Tonique Confort- Comforting Rehydrating Toner as a gift... first thought "WAHH bottle soo adorable!!" HYPEEED already!

what the site said it was:
A genuine skincare lotion, this silky-soft moisturizing formula is especially adapted to the needs of dry skin. It gently tones and immediately rehydrates the skin while eliminating
any impurities, leaving skin perfectly clean, soft and comforted.
....
i totally agree with what the Lancome site said,  i have used it for around a week and a half and it defiantly leaves my skin soooooo smooth and moisturised! i use this every time after i wash my face, but because the formula is quite thick, i would only need a
thin, water based moisturiser after... ( makes my life sooo much easier!)
DEFINITELY great for oily and dry skin, because it doesn't leave your skin greasy.

note: i wouldn't use a cotton pad to apply this, as it just soaks all of it and doesn't leave any for your skin !  just apply with your hands and pat on !

AVEENO: Ultra-calming moisturising cream cleanser & Daily moisturising lotion

I LOVEEEEEEE AVEEEEENNNNNO! Aveeno products are made from oats!(YUM) The benefits of oats: relieves dry skin, soothes irritated skin, soothes cracked skin and moisturises skin! ALL the stuff that i need for my extremely dry and sensitive skin!

AVEENO: Ultra-calming moisturising cream cleanser :
i use this in my night routine because this is soap-free but is a creamy cleanser that takes dirt off my skin just by massaging the cream cleanser in. It is extremely calming which is suitable for my extra-sensitive skin!
Rating 5/5

AVEENO: Daily moisturising lotion:
I use this after the cream cleanser because it is a prefect match, the moisture locks into your skin and is extremely long lasting. It has natural colloidal oatmeal blended with rich emollients, so i would use it before i sleep and wake up still feeling moisturised and not dry at all!
My favourite lotion this month! share with me your favourite lotion this month!

Eau Thermale Avène: Thermal Spring Water

One of my August favourites is the Eau Thermale Avène: Thermal Spring Water !
So refreshing and moisturing! mmm yum!

I use this when my skin is feeling dry during the day and night, with or without make up, because this spray also helps set my make up which is a cheaper option but i would have to hold it further away from my face than usual. It is perfect for sensitive skin while soothing and calming irritated skin.
i dont have much to say about this but it is absolutely amazing! especially when you have make up on but your skin feels dry and wants to be moisturised.
For more information check out there site!

TALIKA: heated eye lash curler && eye lash conditioning cream

TALIKA: heated eye lash curler is meant to be better than a normal eye lash curler?!
This one heats up in less than a minute, but the down side would be it does the same effect as a normal eye lash curler. When i first used it i couldnt really feel the heat so in my opinion it was a waste of money, when i already had a normal eye lash curler. boo:(

TALIKA:eye lash conditioning cream (curling your eyelashes isn't good for your eye lashes!)

The TALIKA eyelash cream for the growth of the eyelashes ! You are meant to use is at night as a treatment of your lashes. I feel/hope that it is working but it really just feels and looks like vaseline. Leave a comment if you think it looks like vaseline too!

Beauty Diary: vanilla souffle face scrub OVER HYPED?!

I AM IN LOVEEEEE WITH BEAUTY DIARY MASKS!.. If you've never heard of this brand before, My Beauty Diary is a Taiwanese brand and is very well known for their mask. anyways this is the Beauty Diary: vanilla souffle face scrub.. i got this as a free gift while buying loads of beauty diary mask, and today i decided to give it a try.
The packaging is so cute.. makes me want to eat it ^^
The product does contain alcohol a which is not so perfect for sensitive skin, but on a good note it is light and fluffy.
This is how To Use it:
• Wash your face with your usual facial cleanser, lightly dab dry.
• Shake the Vanilla Soufflé bottle really well, squirt the product onto your palm with the bottle turned diagonally upside down.
• About the size of a golf ball would do.
• Massage onto face in circular motions for about one minute. Don't forget the neck area.
• Rinse off with water.

Now what i think about it... FACE SCRUB? am i the only person who sees face scrub on this bottle? At first i thought there would be tiny bits inside this formula that helps me scrub (exfoliate) my skin.. but instead it is just like any normal gentle cleanser. It is in a mousse form which means shake your bottle well before squirting?! and you massage into your face... then the cleanser disappears.. ( where did it go? ) it seems like it just soaked into my skin  without doing a deep-scrub clean. Ending with a good note, it would do a amazing job on light cleansing and i have found a good reason to use this.. because this soaks into your skin and disappears after you massage it, i have been using it in the shower for removing excess eye makeup that have fallen onto my eye bags and because it has already disappeared it wont go into your eye and sting your eye! perfect solution ;)

Body Shop: Moisture White Shiso Range !

This is the entire range of the Body Shop: Moisture White Shiso, except for the "whitening night treatment and the eye serum" (that i don't have), is suitable for people who want whiter skin complexion or people who have a lot of acne scars, because in this range they help remove impurities and dead skin cells to remove dullness in your skin. The Key ingredient in this range in Shiso, Shiso extract reduces early melanin-making signals even before the hyper-pigmentation process and melanin production cycle starts - helping prevent uneven skin tone, brown spots and freckles.

From Left:

Moisture White Shiso Foaming Facial Wash:
First time using this did cause me to have a minor breakout but that was because my skin was not use to this formula, but i kept using it to see if it would really work. Later on after a week my skin was starting to recognise this facial wash and was doing it's job! This is also perfect if you have dry skin because it cleanses without drying your skin. oh and this comes with a pump which makes it easier for me in the shower ;)
Rating 3.5/5

Moisture White Shiso Moisturising Essence:
This essence would be used after the facial wash to help hydrate your skin when your pores are open and is ready to soak in some moisture! It is a non-sticky formula with a water based lotion, but this essence is more for oily- normal skin because it does help break down oily parts on your skin. For me the whitening moisture milk is enough for my extremely dry skin.
Rating 3/5

Moisture White Shiso Whitening Moisture Milk:
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! This is one of my favourite milk?? (that sounds wrong) it does its job by keeping my skin moisturised and it defiantly has made my skin tone not as dull. It has organic aloe vera in it, which prevents dry patches. YUM!
Rating 4/5

Moisture White Shiso Whitening Serum:
This also have organic aloe vera, but i do prefer the Moisture White Shiso Whitening Moisture Milk over this, as it feels more smoooooth! Serums are meant to work faster than normal moisturisers... but i do feel that this serum does nothing.. and it was so pricey :( if you prefer the serum over the milk leave a comment and tell me why!??
Rating 2/5

Moisture White Shiso Concentrated Target Perfector:
This one is again a little pricey for a 10 ml little bottle, but you don't need much for each application. It has a easy to apply roller ball to target dark spot areas to lighten them up! and i think you're meant to use it for awhile........ because i see no reaction yet and i have used it for nearly two weeks? please leave a comment if you think i am applying it wrong or something?? help?!

Revlon Lip Butter review!

This review is a little late! but everyone was raving about Revlon's colourburst lip butters, so i got some to try out. I reckon they did do a good job on packaging, just because it looks cute and the lid does match the lip butters!

i have three shades (from left) Creme Brulee, Creamsicle and Cupcake.
From my swatches above it shows that i am not really into bold lip colours such as red, the three colours that i got are very light and natural. The staying power is only average but i didn't expect it to last long in the first place because when i tried it on, i could feel that the formulation wasn't the best on my lips, but they are extremely hydrating with a good consistency!
In the end they are extremely good for a drugstore lip butter and would have got them earlier! ( WHY does australia get everything last ?????:( ) if you haven't got them, go right now and there are many more different shades!
Leave a comment if you have any questions or tell me your favourite shade!!

Lush Makeup: Eyes Right Mascara Review !

I have heard a lot about lush lately from Kay, but i have never actually tried it ! So today i decided to try the Eyes Right Mascara from the Emotionally Brilliance range. In this little jar there is a load of ingredients including: Fresh Wheatgrass Infusion (Triticum vulgare), Water (Aqua), Japan Wax (Rhus succedanea), Talc, Carnauba Wax, Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine, PVP, CI77499, Methylparaben.... yeah... Anyways ..

When i first tried it on it was kinda a let down seeing as it was my first lush product, but it does stay on all day and doesn't smudge at all ! Well the down size would be the WAND! The wand is honestly too short for application, the cap keeps hitting my lashes and turned into a massive black mess... But the cute glass is definitely adorable !!

Soap and Glory- Soaper Heroes Gift set review

Hello everyone! So today i'm going to review some Soap and Glory products (clearly) and bear in mind, this is my first review and first time trying Soap and Glory (i know, shock horror).  I had heard some great things about the body scrub from -i think it was- Fleur de Force and Essie Button, and when I found out that my local Kit Cosmetics store had Soap and Glory in stock, i just knew i had to try it.
For me, as i was new to these products, going with a travel sized kit was the best option for me, especially as I am going to Hong Kong for two weeks soon.  This enabled me to try a few different things, with some products that i would not usually go for, as well as some others that i really wanted to try out.  SO without further adieu, here it is!

In the kit: From Left- Flake Away body scrub, Girligo scented moisturising body mist, hair supply (the online kit seems to have Hand food hand cream instead of hair supply, but i ain't complaining!), Clean on me shower gel and Righteous butter softening butter.

Flake Away body scrub
I use this after shaving in the shower and it is amazing.  It really exfoliates and smells good, the only thing i don't like about is that it does leave you feeling a teensy tiny bit oily but i'm sure that's just the shea butter doing its thang.  It washes off well and i would definitely think about buying the full size next.
Rate 4.5/5

Girligo scented moisturising body mist
This is a fun one, you spray the mist all over your body and just rub into the skin.  It's a nice thought but really, i rather just use the body butter instead.  The smell is way to perfumey for me as I don't really like the overly girly scents (think impulse sprays), but i know for some, this product is right up their alley!
Rate 2.5/5

Hair Supply
I'm thinking, perhaps this is just in the Australian kit as looking online, Hand food hand cream replaces this, and i can't seem to find the full kit on the uk site anywhere. Nonetheless, this is a good product.  I haven't used it enough to notice a complete difference in my hair (my hair is really dry) and i think i'm going to need a few more trys with it before i make up my mind completely, BUT  I do like the way it feels when i use it and i like the smell.
Rate 3/5

Clean on me shower gel
I love this, it smells so good and lathers well (not amazing bubble bubble though).  Makes me feel moisturised and clean and yep, it just does its job well.  That said though, i have really sensitive skin (excema) and i don't think i would use this everyday as opposed to my moogoo soap bar or a sensitive skin shower gel, just because i feel it's a little perfumed (it's scented with their 'original pink fragrance' and may irritate my skin.
Rate 4/5

Righteous butter body butter
Not much to say about this product, it's just a great body butter.  I do not like those body butters that smell of chocolate, so this is just perfect for me. Again, it's scented with the 'original pink fragrance' but i like it in this body butter.. do not ask why! My only problem is, because it's travel sized, i have to ration how much i use, which is hard when i wan't to scoop the whole thing out and butter myself up!!! Ew, i know.. but you get the point.
Rate 5/5

All in all, I really recommend this to any girly-girls out there who love cute packaging and want to smell pink good all the time! I definitely will be re-purchasing some of these items and can't wait to try out some other products too.
That's all from me now :)

Deep down DETOX mask review

This deep down detox ultra-cleansing mud mask is from FORMULA 10.0.6 and is just your average drug store product. It is meant to cleanse impurities for a clearer, brighter complexion and it smells like tangerine! This is not the typical type of mud mask, is it actually a pinkish colour and you only apply a thin layer over your face for 10-15 minutes .

When i had this on, i felt a tingling sensation so i thought it would be sensitive for my type of skin ( dry ) but it worked out fine and it left me with glowing moisturised skin!  By the way, this is the sample packaging ($2) as i only wanted to try it out before buying a full size bottle for $9.00, which i just might do!

Foundation collection review!

These are all the foundations that i currently own~

From left to right are my favourite foundation to my least favourite foundation

Starting from the left:
1. NATIO- pure mineral foundation ( Medium Tan )

This is my current favourite foundation as it is not to thin and not too thick. i have heard a lot of bad/good reviews on this but it really depends on the type of skin you have (i have sensitive and dry skin). i only use about one squeeze and it is enough for my whole face!
Rating: 4/5

2. NARS- pure radiant tinted moisturiser  ( FINLAND )
This is definitely not a foundation, but i use it when i only want a light coverage or when i break out from some other product. Nars products are on the higher end of the price range but it is worth it !
Rating: 4/5

3. STILLA- illuminating liquid foundation ( 70 watts )
Stilla illuminating liquid foundation gives a matte effect after applying, it is thin and gives a medium coverage. It is perfect for when i am feeling matte-y!
Rating: 3.5/5

4. RIMMEL- WAKE ME UP foundation ( soft beige )
i was given this from a friend to try it out, hence why it is only tester size. Wake me up foundation gives me a glow after apply because there is a shimmer to it. You can definitely use this for light coverage right through to full coverage if you cake it on!
Rating: 3.5/5

5. REVELON colourstay- stay natural makeup ( medium beige )
As from the name colourstay, it does stay on my face for a very long time but the only bad point about this product is that when u squirt it out it feels thick on your skin, but if you dont mind having full coverage it would do perfect! Personally, I like something a bit lighter.
Rating: 3/5

6. NUDE- flawless liquid velet ( medium/dark )
When i first bought this product i thought i would love it as i love most 'nude' product and i even tried it in store and loved it, unfortunately when i used it at home, it was so thick and gooey. Eventually i started breaking out from it as it was too thick and heavy for my face and completely clogged my pores!
Rating: 2/5

7. REVLON photoready airbrush - mousse makeup ( medium beige )
Where do i start ... the first time i squirted it out, it went everywhere! So keep in mind to do your first squirt in a sink or somewhere you don't mind getting a little messy. After when i gave it a second try it worked out fine, but you wouldn't need to use much as it is a light an airy mousse. It's still not my favourite foundation but i'm sure some people will love the light-medium coverage.
Rating: 2/5

8. BODYSHOP- oil free balancing foundation ( 05 )
One of the worst foundations i have ever tried on. my skin broke out within one hour with red patches and a very itchy face! Other reviews on this is average depending on your skin but it definitely didnt work out for me and that's such a shame as it was pricy too :( Would not be purchasing again.
